EUCPN webinar: Evidence-based crime prevention

To improve crime prevention at the local, national and European level, the EUCPN and its Secretariat have developed a ‘Towards evidence-based crime prevention in the EU’ strategy consisting of various tools. This Strategy lays out the framework for quality standards and aspires to further improve the prevention field by strengthening and supporting an evidence-based approach throughout the European Union.

During this webinar several focus areas of the strategy will be discussed, including:

• A set of four minimum criteria for sharing crime prevention initiatives;
• The new QUALIPREV tool;
• The upcoming EUCPN crime prevention database;
• EUCPN’s trainings on crime prevention fundamentals and evaluating crime prevention initiatives

The webinar takes place on Thursday 22 February 2024 between 10:00 - 11:00 CET. Participation is free, but registration is mandatory. The access link will be sent prior to the webinar.
