Private Car Security System for Stolen Vehicle Recovery

The project involves the equipping of law enforcement patrol cars and helicopters with specific detectors able to track stolen cars.

• In the short term, law enforcement has decided that a public-private partnership is necessary to fight auto theft.
• In the medium term, the goal is to demonstrate the ability to recover stolen vehicles and arrest thieves.
• In the long term, the objective is to have several types of similar partnerships in order to discourage thieves and decrease thefts.
